As shoppers we still predominantly shop in-store, and I became interested in how to connect the physical act of looking at a clothing label , with providing immediate access to information on where and how that garment was made. By using Quick Response Codes (QR codes) to access the information directly, a smart-phone can scan the square graphic and be re-directed to a sourcemap of the supply chain of that garment.  I made the QR code clothing labels below, showcasing them in the Kellen Gallery at Parsons the New School in the spring of 2011.
